Jock’s favourite roast, rolled sirloin in our humble opinion strikes exactly the right compromise between taste and tenderness. Macbeth’s sirloin has a good level of marbling and fat cover through it so when cooked rare you will get a rich beefy flavour and it should just melt in the mouth.

Just so so good, wish we could afford to eat this more often, but only buying it for special occasions makes it even more special. I honestly think this was the best beef I have ever eaten.

We had this for Christmas and then again recently for my Mum’s birthday (we are in an extended family unit) and it was delicious. Very tender and moist when freshly cooked but also when eaten the day after.
