Description
A traditional scottish gammon, smoked for extra flavour and the bone taken out for your convenience. This has been cured and smoked using Scottish pork gigots and all you need to do is boil it and roast it to your preference. A rolled smoked gammon is a fantastic choice for buffets and very popular at Christmas.

I boiled the joint for an hour and a half with black pepper corns a teaspoonful of salt and 2 bay leaves. 20 mins before boiling had stopped I added carrots ,onions and potatoes. I seved it with spring greens after leaving the boiled joint to rest fo 5 mins

Beautiful, just cut slices off the joint in the frying pan and into a roll, excellent.
