This dry cure bacon is bacon as it should be – it is not pumped full of water so you eat what you put in the pan! It is the most popular bacon that we sell and is has a great flavour to it – ideal for a bacon sandwich!

Really nice, though not that much different to the smoked back bacon. There are 2 main differences between buying bacon here and frome your local supermarket. 1 it tastes better. 2 you don’t get any of that white crap you get from the added water to supermarket bacon.

This bacon is just brilliant to make angels-on-horseback, serve with herby potatoes lightly browned under the grill, and whatever fresh veg are in season. Yummmm

This equates in terms of quality and price to the independent premium brands to be found in supermarkets. The rashers have a good “eye” but are sliced quite thin. I daresay Macbeth’s would cut them a bit thicker if you ask nicely. Might try the Ayrshire Middle next time, a cut not normally found down here in Devon – Huntsham
