Herdwick sheep are an iconic breed predominantly from the lake district of England. We bought 12 ewes and a tup to start our own flock of Herdwicks at our farm Edinvale. The meat from this amazing breed is simply delicious, full of flavour and a real treat.  This lamb is grass fed and extensively reared – very extensively as there isn’t a fence in the world that the Herdwick can’t get through!
