I ordered a mixed bag of products for my first MacBeths order and was not dissapointed. The venison was well cut, beautifully tender and is some of the best venison I have ever tasted.
Fry slowly with butter,salt,black pepper and garlic salt for 10mins Put into the frying pan a glass of red wine. Let the wine bubble and add a table spoonful of plain flower Stir in the plain flowerTurn once or twice. in the frying pan.Serve with chip potatoes and peas

Ordered the venison steaks from Macbeths, we have never had venison that tastes as good and as succulent as that ever, absolutely beautiful .
I so enjoy these steaks, they’re perfect for a single person and, of course, you can serve as many as you like (or have!) when friends come round. The meat is so good. I always have some in the frezer.
Excellent, juicy, tasty, and low fat, high food quality … what more could anyone want? The steaks are very good for me as I eat alone so need portions for one person. I eat venison 2-3 times every week and it’s delicious. Always keep the freezer topped up 🙂

OMG!! Shouldn’t be surprised at the amazing quality of the venison fillet considering how good the beef is!! So tender, succulent and full of flavour. So easy to pan fry for a medium ‘pinkish’ finish. Don’t forget to rest a short while after cooking, as you would a quality steak, for absolute perfection.
